At School

Teachers are you passionate about trade justice and want to inspire your students?  Teaching about fair trade is a great way to get students interested about real-life and current global issues and it shows them how they can make a difference.

Whether you are a primary, intermediate or a high school teacher, we have a resource for you.

Students have you heard about fair trade and want to know more?  Why don’t you get together with some of your school or class mates and start campaigning to make your school a Fair Trade School.  You could sell Fairtrade Certified chocolate, show a film about fair trade, talk in assembly, write a song – the possibilities are only limited by your imagination!  Click on the activity sheet below to help get you started.

Speakers and Visits:  School visits are an excellent way of talking about fair trade. Many schools are more than happy to welcome competent volunteers or local businesses to make classes more engaging. Take the initiative by contacting schools and offering Fair Trade related visits or let us know you are available and are keen to offer your time and expertise.
