Organisers of the Oxfam Trailwalker Sydney 2006 event are thrilled by the extraordinary response from participants who have filled the available 430 team places in record time. Oxfam Australia urges participants and supporters to also boost fundraising for the event to record levels to provide much need funds for its development work around the globe.

Oxfam Australia is seeking audacious travellers for a cycle tour in one of the world's ancient civilisations. Ride alongside the mighty Yangtze River, visit a World Heritage listed village and marvel at stunning 4,000 metre high snow-capped peaks. The China cycle tour is taking place from 20 October to 1 November 2006, and Oxfam Australia is recruiting for it now.
